A “Jirish” Meal


Happy St. Patrick’s Day, tomorrow. We are having our corned beef, but we are having it on JEWISH rye–seedless, because I am the one who shopped AND the one who cooks on Sunday. We are having our cabbage, but it is SAUERKRAUT. We are NOT having potatoes or green beer.  Hence, Jewish-Irish, or Jirish. It isn’t Kosher, though. We are having Swiss cheese on those sandwiches!
